Four Outfits for this Fourth of July!
Independence Day is in a little over a week! Do you know how you’re celebrating yet? Regardless of whether you’re attending a backyard grill-out or partying it up at the beach, America’s birthday is a fun opportunity to dress up and bring out the red, white, and blue!
Since I’ve committed to Slow Fashion Season (a movement where 13,000+ people around the world have pledged to not buy any new clothes for the next three months), I’ve compiled a few secondhand looks from ThredUp for you to draw inspiration from!
1. Red Mini-Dress
There’s nothing like a show-stopping red dress!
You can never go wrong with a pretty dress. Gold and red are a classic color combination and this palette is almost reminiscent of the fireworks that will be playing later that evening.
2. Romantic all-white looks
Summer is the season of refreshing, all-white outfits! Take this Independence Day to bring out your soft, sweet, and flowy side!
This chic jumpsuit is a fun way to incorporate two of the nation’s colors! Keep it simple by pairing it with shoes that mimic the same pattern and draw attention back up towards the face with a delicate gold necklace.
This outfit is a layered all-white look with bright red earrings to add interest. It’s a casual combo that is easy to wear and allows you to move freely.
3. Blue Shorts power suit
For an alternative eye-catcher to the little red dress, try a chic, all-blue shorts power suit!
4. Midi DRESS
Midi is the new & hot summer length! Option to play with red, white, and blue for this Fourth of July party or to go with another fun print!
Dark blue feathers add a playful twist to the conservative structure of this dress.
Is it Christmas already? Peppermint stripes add a vintage flare to this dramatic dress.
It doesn’t get more summer than this! Bright yellows and reds mirror the hues of a long sunset.
Well, what do you think? Would you try any of these for your Fourth of July bash?
